I started working on residential pools in South Florida more than ten years ago. Back then I was apprenticing under a contractor — running chemicals, testing water, learning every quirk of every pump and filter in homes across Miami-Dade and Broward. After that, I had enough field experience and enough patience for the state paperwork to test for my Florida Certified Pool/Spa Contractor license. CPC #1461473 has been mine ever since.

I started JAF Pool & Patio for one reason. Most pool customers in South Florida get the same complaints from every chain service — a different tech every week, water that's never quite right, and surprise charges when something breaks. I wanted to run the opposite of that. Same crew every visit. Honest pricing. A real Florida-licensed contractor on every job. The first ten years have proven the model works.

My day-to-day is residential weekly cleaning across twenty-six cities — Doral, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Cooper City, Weston, and ten more. We also handle green-pool restorations, equipment work, salt cell replacements, and full pool remodels for existing customers who want to upgrade. The work that matters most is the unglamorous part: showing up every week, balancing the chemistry, checking the equipment before it fails.
